Clinical Fox learns from you
Whether entering an operative name or procedure, a surgeon or hospital, or even patient names – Clinical Fox learns from what you enter to speed data capture by making sensible suggestions in the future.
Item numbers used with procedures you have previously entered are pre-filled. Surgeons are pre-associated with their hospitals and specialty categories. Even the mode of anaesthesia is pre-filled from your past procedural records!

Quickly swipe right on a case record to set start and end times, add notes or sticker photos. Swipe left to mark cases as they advance through your preferred billing workflow: flagging for post-op reviews, setting gap status, marking that invoices have been submitted and when the received funds are reconciled.
Add document attachments or photos of medical notes or billing information to any record. Then when you’re done, simply export the case as a PDF digital card to send to your billing service.
Returning patients you have previously cared for? No problem! Quickly review your past clinical notes then duplicate the record as a template to further speed entry.
Reduce mistakes, fix missing data
Clinical Fox will correct and swap-out incompatible item numbers, and works hard to warn you when an item number might be missing. If you are not sure which item number might apply, quickly search and add the appropriate item to the record – plus Medicare descriptions are only a tap away.
And Clinical Fox will warn you if you forget to add a sticker!
Get real-time fee estimates
Clinical Fox calculates fee and gap estimates using RVG units, unit values and billing instructions. Set no gap, fixed gap, fixed unit value or fixed total fee accounts, and see fees updated in real-time as items are added or removed.
Because some insurers rebate inconsistent amounts for non-RVG-unit items, Clinical Fox’s calculated fees are an estimate only and may sometimes differ from the final fee amount by tens-of-dollars.
Finish end-of-day billing in minutes
Quickly finalise your billing instructions at the end of the day: simply review the data you have captured and export PDF ‘digital cards’ to provide to your practice staff or upload to your billing service.

By being a central store of your case, billing and brief clinical notes, Clinical Fox acts as a personal Electronic Medical Record. Attach clinical documents like anaesthetic records or pre-op results for later reference on the day of surgery or future clinical care. Record details from pre-op phone calls and reviews as your own Private Note.
Attached documents can also be optionally exported as part of the PDF Digital Card – essential for photos of Work Cover details or atypical funding situations.

Cloud sync between devices
All Clinical Fox data is synced with our cloud servers, and so is always up to date with any app or device you use to access your records.
You could enter up-coming patient details on your laptop, capture stickers with your iPhone®, fill-in case details by the bedside with your iPad® and then finalise your billing back on your laptop at the end of the day. Sync is almost instant.

Security, safety & encryption
All Clinical Fox data is securely stored on encrypted servers exclusively in Sydney, Australia. All user connections between the web app, devices and Clinical Fox data servers are encrypted with 256 bit bank-grade encryption.
Photos of stickers and attachments are optionally backed-up to the user’s device when taken. Other data entered is cached and encrypted on local devices, even when offline.
